BRMI Vision New Things [Isaiah 48:6-7] I proclaim to you new things from this time, even hidden things, which you have not known. They are created now and not long ago; and before today you have not heard them, lest you should say, 'Behold, I knew them.' Something Fresh The Almighty works with the new and the fresh, for the new and the fresh lives. In Him we live and move and have our being? (Acts17:28) and apart from Him we can do nothing. (John 15:5) The very idea of movement comes from the Spirit of God. (John 4:24) We see that our Lord Jesus Christ frequently moved about and hardly ever remained in one place for too long. In the Book of Acts we see that Philip the Evangelist was instantly transported by God's Spirit from place to place; Agabus the prophet, Apollos the teacher and all the apostles kept moving about as the Spirit impelled them. Movement is the very nature of life. The preacher is constantly on the move, carrying about the fresh and potent spirit of renewal. As a forerunner of new things and like one of the prophets of old he flows in the prophetic and the supernatural. The Former Rain has already come Now We Await the Latter Rain Latter Rain Once again God will visit His people in glory. Before the Lord's Awesome Day the world will experience the final wave of revival. While the Good News of the Gospel covers the globe the Latter Rain outpour, as revealed in Joel (2:23), in the yet unknown to man proportions, will flood the earth. Like a pregnant woman who searches for the right place to deliver her baby the preacher travels the globe probing many a field where at God's appointed season that vision would come about. |
