For some reason God set things in a progressive motion and this motion can be called progress or regress, which depends on the implementation of will.

This delicate balance between the spiritual and the physical world is often disturbed when we stray from the heavenly path of truth. Because of earthly attachments we get sidetracked and then we deform the happy vision of life. Suffering is often an outcome of this skewed vision; anguish of soul, body and mind comes from spiritual disharmony. 

We are not just body, soul or mind, but also spirit, and this spirit is indeed eternal. It is the spirit that draws upwards while the soul clings to the body, which in turn clings to the earth often resulting in grief. The moment we return to that straight path of truth (repent) reformation will follow.

Logic helps us to rationalize things, but if logic is of our own making than again it will pass through fears, which come from attachments and so our own logic becomes also deformed. The letting go is the most logical choice a renewed mind can make. But will anyone embrace this sort of logic?

We were formed well or badly, and something within tells us which one is which. The well formed mind, soul and spirit does not need to be re-formed, but only improved, but an ill-formed mind not only must turn back to the straight path, but must be re-formed in order to bring about lasting health and happiness.

All negative energies come from the ill-formed patterns of thinking, illogical behavior signals illogical thinking. Once we open ourselves to the straight and simple heavenly logic we will embrace a strand of pearls, diamonds and gold nuggets of the truest beauty and value.
