“I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me.” [Exodus 20:5]
Precious friend, child of the Most High God today you will discover the great value of YOU - part IV. In the previous letter we spoke of the widow of Zarephath and in the letter before that we spoke about the visitations of God and that sentence ended with, upon those that hate Me. Yeshua said in Luke 14:26 (King James Translation): If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. By comparison of attachment and dedication the opposite is here equated with hate. So in reality it is not hate as we know it therefore the visiting of fathers’ iniquities on their children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Him, has to do with priorities and attachments. Anyone unwilling to repent hates God. When He visits He comes to fellowship to the point of oneness. Like a father returning from a long journey comes home bringing gifts to shower his children with. God is Spirit and He wants to dwell in the human body, which He had made for that very purpose. But He did not program us to the point of involuntary slavery, but indeed gave us the will to choose Him, hence these words: So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the LORD your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days… (Deut. 30:19-20) Those that do not choose Him of their own will indeed hate Him. We said that He has nothing to do with tares or the field, but much with His own seed. He comes exclusively to His sons and daughters and if these turn a cold shoulder to Him His jealousy flares up and people suffer totally unnecessarily. The fruits of such actions sometimes may be permanent serving as a reminder. But in Him everything can be changed, and turned around, but contrary to many doctrines we have the power to turn the clock back too, although not in the physical sense. In God there’s no time, so our repentance does not change the physical time, but the spiritual reality under which we live, positive or negative. Did God hate the widow of Zarephath? Most certainly not for He had appointed her for miracles. Did God hate the Canaanite woman of Matthew 15 by saying “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel?” Most certainly not for He had sent His Son to her. Yeshua said in Matthew 24, 36“but of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.” He said that of Himself He could do nothing (John 5:19; 30) so also in this case He had to test the Canaanite woman while waiting on the Father and when the Father revealed to His Son that she is also the (lost) seed He blessed her with a miracle. The Son came to Jerusalem that was the time of God’s visitation and they broke the Father’s heart, for He came to His own, but His own did not receive Him. I am appointed to defend Israel, but in this case there’s nothing to defend, but simply explain the heavenly realities and God’s interactions with His seed. In Luke 19:41-44 Yeshua wept over Jerusalem saying: and they will level you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.” Could Yeshua intercede for His own people and spare Jerusalem from the consequences following God’s visit? Yes He could, but why did He not do it? It was not given to Him from the Father. Yeshua of Himself could not say nor do anything. The Father judges no one, that power He gave to His Son, which later on He passed on to the apostles. The destruction of the Temple and the city of Jerusalem was not the consequence of God’s visitation, but rather the consequence of the refusal to recognize it. How important it is to be cleansed from man’s doctrines, freed from religiousness that blinds our spiritual eyes so that we recognize the day of His visitation and cleave to Him like chicks under mother hen’s wings. (Matthew 23:37-39) 37“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling.38“Behold, your house is being left to you desolate! 39“For I say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’” It does not matter what our wishes may be, the fact remains that God wants to visit you in His own way and when He comes He brings His character too; it is unavoidable. When Yeshua returns that will be the final visit, but then it is too late to develop special relationship with the Father. Some will shine brightly like the stars of heaven, while others dimly and yet others will hardly emanate any light. Some will be just babies, and some a bit more mature children. But there will also be the overcomers and they will sit on the throne of God sharing in His power and dominion because their wills became one with God’s and like His Firstborn they will not be able to act and speak on their own. Right now the surrender of will to His will, takes much effort on our part; the education process leads exactly to that moment. The time of His visitation carries dual polarity, positive and negative. Once His visit is recognized and room for Him prepared then His glorious presence fills it and the consequence will be a much closer walk with Him, intimacy and hearing of His voice and a clear sense of being guided and at the same time one is relaxed in His sovereignty. That’s how important you are, and that’s how much He loves you to the point of total possession where one’s own will and imaginations cease to exist. This deep sense of happiness begins now and continues to grow for eternity. Amen » Previous |
