The Law of overcomers
Chapter 15
Nothing in the heavenly sphere can sin for the law, which defines sin, God directed towards the physical man on the physical earth only.
Time rules the earth and fragments the continuity of something we call eternity. We have difficulty grasping the concept of eternity, our physical mind is subject to the law of earth and time, and therefore only spiritual man can comprehend timeless existence.
Psalms 104:4 Who makes His angels spirits; His ministers a flaming fire
Mark 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
Due to the profound influence of Zoroastrianism and other streams of theology, which is obvious today, the concept of angels in the mind of the Jewish exiles to Babylon had gone through major metamorphosis. The mythological frame of mind of Greece had further shaped the Jewish mind, which searched for answers to the ever-gnawing questions about the sufferings of God's people.
The forced hellenisation created a fantasy-prone, mystical frame of mind, sternly forbidden by Moses.
Since the Egyptian emancipation God called Israel His holy people, (exclusive) chosen out of all the peoples of the earth and to be, as God's own possession, yet the foreign influences, as those of the surrounding pagan nations often won over.
Understanding the nature of covenant and the covenant-keeping God is of great significance for without this comprehension it would have been impossible to understand the outbreaks of God's jealousy. His wrath, vented through numerous punishments like destructions and exiles, (1) these spoke of His ardent defense of the covenant He Himself had made with Israel (2) rather than some accidental outbreaks of a supreme celestial being. Obviously, it is the second notion that most have embraced and the theology of Satan immerged.
God has many angels and He can change them according to His wishes, as good (perceived as such by the earthling) or as evil (also perceived as such by the earthling), but all these are subject to conditions. These conditions, as mentioned above, are rooted in the ardent defense of the covenant.
Just as it is the case with contracts and agreements on earth for when these are broken, the law extracts a penalty and even meets out an imprisonment for the culprit. In the same way, God zealously sought to enforce His eternal covenant with Israel. When that covenant was infringed upon a wrathful consequence followed.
Psalms 78:49 He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels [among them].
Judges 9:23 Then God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech:
1Samuel 16:14 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.
1Kings 22:22-23 And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade [him], and prevail also: go forth, and do so. Now
therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.
Hebrews 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
The very idea of transgression is rooted in a commandment and its enforcement. The first transgression took place in Eden for God commanded Adam to NOT eat of the tree.
The idea of sin comes also from a commandment, but it can be traced all the way to the time before the giving of the law.
Exodus 9:27 And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the LORD [is] righteous, and I and my people [are] wicked.
The law was not yet given yet Pharaoh had sinned. Obviously, through the interaction with Moses, Pharaoh had learned something about the God of Moses for he later said:
Exodus 10:16 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you.
Since the spiritual realm knows no time, all genealogical lines are in plain view before God and His angels. On this earth, we must trace these lines and study family trees and indeed, it is time consuming and it wearies the body, nonetheless with this study we also begin to grasp timelessness.
How did Pharaoh sin? He sinned against Moses whom he knew, but the God of the Hebrews he did not know, therefore his sin was against another human being.
The Hebrew Bible describes sin as the way of pain, hurting others does hurt the Creator who made us all. Psalms 139:24 And see if [there be any] wicked way (Hebr.: 'way of pain') in me'
Sin is only possible on earth for pain is present only here, but God feels pain for indeed part of him is in us. Eternity shall wipe all tears away and suffering will not be remembered for the former things will be done away with. (Revelations 21:4) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
It is our sin, transgression and wickedness to assume that in heaven sin was found among God's angels and so He had to cast them out, but the worse sin is the assumption that the loving God had sent these 'fallen angels' to earth to tempt, seduce and torment us. These preposterous ideas have found their place in the New Testament, especially in 2 Peter 2:4, Jude 1:6 and Revelations 12:7 & 9.
In addition, Apostle Paul mentions similar things, (1 Corinthians 6:3) obviously to gain the public's attention to what he was really trying to say.
Paul addressed his letter to the people at Corinth-Greece and the Greek mind did not comprehend spiritual things unless they were 'spiced up' with the famous Greek myths. Jewish teachings were just too boring for them, although they were interested in them just as it is today; in order to grab their attention Shaul (Paul) used words alien to a Jew for Paul never called himself a Jew, but an Israelite (Romans 11:1). The apostle was not from Judah, but from Benjamin, a lost sheep of the house of Israel and a convert to Judaism. Obviously, his study at the Jewish Yeshiva, under Rabbi Gamaliel, was the actual conversion and the transformation process of Paul, which also involved physical circumcision and only then he was able enter the premises of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem as a Kosher Jew (Acts 22:3). In another place Paul speaks of himself just AS being a Jew: (1Corinthians 9:20) And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law. Paul often used words within the context of the Pharisaic mind and not His own. As if he became to the Pharisees a Pharisee, perhaps, to persuade them to accept Him or to make them think according to the straight and narrow way he proclaimed.
The notion that angels have sinned is not Jewish, but pagan. The pains taken to show this gradual seduction with fantasy should not be in vain, unless the reader has no regard for this effort and wishes to remain with the old wineskin and keep on patching up the old rather than make for himself the new wineskin and therewith receive the new wine.
We as Jews must also repent for playing the harlot with mythological imagery (idols) that seduce the mind and obscure the true glory of our God. In Christianity, we have the Book of revelations, which is also widely used in the teachings of anthroposophy, and in Judaism, we have the mystical writings of Kabala. A great number of Kabala students, including some prominent Rabbis, have gone mad and are locked in psychiatric wards.
It is also our sin to take scriptures dogmatically and without the God-given understanding, for someone created this dogma by saying: 'it is written and I believe it and that settles it.' No! It is not so, it is not settled yet. Unless we repent first and humble ourselves and become as hollow vessels-empty of our own theological pride before our God so that we might be filled with His Holy Spirit and His heavenly logic-we will grope in darkness.
Explanation of the law of the overcomers
If we had no obstacles, there would be nothing to overcome. Obstacles are only possible in this sphere for there will be none in heaven.
If obstacles are possible in heaven then sin is also possible. If you say that this is the former creation and the new creation will contain no sin and evil, I agree with you completely. But what I cannot agree with is the notion that we cannot repent and return to God and live the way He wants us to, because of the heavenly sinful seductions like those of ?the devil? and ?his fallen angels the demons.? This would make God a liar, and a trickster; this would create gaps in God's oneness giving us an excuse to grieve Him through our careless behavior. This would also make God incomplete and so He has no right to call himself the ALL-Mighty and the ALL-Powerful whom we are admonished to trust and depend on; and if so then I would not want to spend eternity in the presence of a trickster or someone who is not able to keep His kingdom under full control. If He is sovereign then I trust Him, if He permitted rebellion in heaven and sent the rebels down to earth to vex us then your portrait of God is not only PAGAN, but cynically wicked and hateful.
What is written here is a test between the honest love for God and the love of self and own theology
John 16:33 say: These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you will have tribulation: but be of good rejoice for I have overcome the world.
Sin must be overcome, wickedness, lewdness, uncleanness, abominations for no one practicing these things will even see the kingdom of God, let alone enter it.
The seeing begins now, even with these words and after you have fully embraced this knowledge, but the entering you must do alone. (1Corinthians 6:9-10) Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortionists, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Judging from the above words no sin can enter into God's holy hemisphere so why do we postulate that God's angels came down to earth and sinned with women and produced giants, which supposedly have become the fallen angels in flesh? This is exactly what ruled the fantasy-prone Hellenic mind yet the truth remains plain: (Mark 12:25) For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
People like us compiled the Bible, not angels, and what ruled their minds influenced their writing that is the reason why we have discrepancies in the harmonic flow of scripture. Alternative thinking created by the attention-starved human, not God, has interrupted this harmony. Read the prophets and see the solid flow of what God is speaking. Read the five books of Moses and see God's glory there too. But any book written after the Babylonian exile (which included the New Testament) is fragmented by alternative streams of theology propelled by that day's (Greek) philosophy. Please use the God given intelligence and understand.
(Luke 24:45) Then He opened their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? [even] because ye cannot hear my word.
▪ Angels could not have sinned for they abide in heaven with God, and nothing unclean or sinful can abide therein.
▪ Angels are spirits and flames, ministers of God, sent to minister to us and not to seduce us to sin.
▪ The sons of God are Adam's seed through Cain and Seth, one was wicked and the other was righteous, the wicked one is the son of wrath and the other is the son of peace.
▪ Matthew 5:9 Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God.
Romans 8:14, 19 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.
▪ Cain was led of his flesh, Abel (whom Cain had killed) already then walked according to the spirit, which was pleasing to God.
▪ Romans 8:8-9,13 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but of the Spirit for the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if any man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. For if
ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
▪ The nature of the spirit of life is sinlessness; the nature of life in the flesh is sinful.
Wickedness and sin holds NO PEACE, no wonder the earth is longing for the sons of God for these bring comfort and peace. No dogmatic person can ever heal another human being for he or she is too much a war-like. Illness has to do with fragmentation, and to heal means to make whole or one and complete again.
War fragments, disagreements are rooted in selfish pride and such does not know the way of peace. Isaiah 59:8 says: The way of peace they know not; and [there is] no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goes therein shall not know peace.
Apostle Paul speaks in Romans 3:13-18 that: their throat [is] an open grave; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps [is] under their lips, whose mouth [is] full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet [are] swift to shed blood. Destruction and misery [are] in their ways; the way of peace have they not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes:
Justifying imaginations and teachings with dogmas of those that indoctrinated us with foolishness proves that we have nothing to do with our gracious Father, but rather much more with our own selfish ambitions and stupid theology.
The root of Cain continues: and (Matthew 7:17,22) every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a bad tree brings forth evil fruit; by their fruits you will know them.
It is this tree that I speak of even the family tree. (Matthew 3:10) And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. (Cain and his angels the Kenites-his seed-the imitators of his deeds.) (Matthew 23: 31-32) Consequently you bear witness against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up then the measure of the guilt of your fathers.
(Numbers 24:22) ? Cain shall be consumed.
Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
We all can be like angels, for Enoch walked with God and he was no more for God took him. Elijah was taken; Philip was being supernaturally transported by God's Spirit. Jesus promised John that he would remain alive until he would see Him come again.
Nevertheless, before we become like angels, in this age, we must first become His sons the peacemakers therefore submitted to our Father's will in everything.
We must start as lambs until He makes us into lions, as who like a lamb at first offered Himself up for us and had overcome, made His will the Father's will, so can we, for He made the way. He is coming back not as a lamb anymore, but as the judge who will judge both the dead and the living. Let us imitate Him until that day when the Father's will become also ours.
The first obstacle, which we must conquer, is the pride of life for this is the law of the overcomers and the law of angels.
