The Fear Factor

The idea of darkness and light, evil versus good, and Satan versus the Almighty has occupied the human mind for millennia.

FORTE books presents you with the choice to see things in the light of a new understanding, which sheds more light on the old established doctrinal paths of thinking.

The old often tries to accommodate the newly emerging ideas through an integration therefore, as it were, patching up the old garment with new patches.

The reader is offered here to view those well established paths of thinking through a magnifying glass and then decide which path is better.

One might ask 'what are the benefits of this new thinking?' The benefits are enormously great:

For one: one will no longer face the unexplained cosmic world of evil, but will face the Sovereign One without the in-between world of supposed darkness.

For two: one will no longer incapacitate him or herself by trying to rise above any undesirable negative habits, which till now harbored the element of spiritual evil, which seems to interfere with one's decision-making mechanism.

And for three: one will enjoy the strength of the original human potential created by no one else, but the Almighty Himself.

On one hand the scientists are convinced that man evolved from the lower - monkey type - of species and in some mysterious way excelled while the primates remained in their former state. They seem not to be bothered by the notions of fallen angels and cataclysmic upheavals in the world of the spirit; they are preoccupied with the physical only.

The religious people, in search for God, have entangled themselves in denominational and sectarian theologies therefore choosing a path of some organized religion; obviously, by adhering to the postulated dogmas thusly forfeited the personal attainment of the truth.

When an individual is encouraged to seek God on his or her own those engraved on their psyche dogmas rebel, as if trying to prevent one from making a bolder step towards the desired goal, which is to know the truth. The self righteous self switches gears and usurps to have already been in possession of the holy gift of selflessness. It is the self that deceives and here is how it does it.
When it comes to earning money, eating breakfast and going to work it is as normal and natural as anything else, but when it comes to practice the same in reference to God the self relaxes and does not want to have anything to do with the act of actually blessing God, of course, with the blessings one has already received. Churches must almost pry the money out of one's hand before someone would offer something for free. But I do not speak here about money, but about offering to God our ego, self righteousness, frozen in time dogmas and all the like. Most enjoy the passive state, being lulled to sleep with the out-of-date doctrines about God and His supposed counterpart Satan.

Why is it so important to know the truth, which does not necessarily entertain, but changes and shapes one according to something that always has been and that is the Eternal One and His Kingdom?

Fear gets in the way

There will always be the element of surprise when anything new begins to lift the veil, anything hidden behind those veils are then revealed causing consternation and undesired reactions, and one of them is fear.

The known, the experienced and the already accepted causes no fear, but the freshly introduced the new and not yet fully grasped brings confusion for it brings a conflict between the old and the new.

Our nervous system has difficulty handling any unpleasantness; the soul (where all of our emotions are stored) sometimes reacts in most unexpected way; it may reject the new because of the unpleasantness it causes, or it may get excited at the prospect of being liberated.

The one that outright rejects even the initial sentences of the message is most likely a someone that has already published his or her ideas and enjoys a good standing in the community of fans.

But here is the crux of the matter, what is therefore repentance?

When the letting go of the old and the letting go of the ego are being considered then repentance begins to wield amazing feats of power. Only in such a state one will experience the awesome power of repentance, which causes one to admit an error or many errors; returns to the straight path of truth and forsakes its pompous pride, and even sacrifices earthly goods like money and popularity in the name of that pearl of great value the truth. Is there anyone that would go that length? Hardly anyone, but why not going it the secret way and be changed from within first and in time the without will conform to it?
