Biography

Benjamin Rubin was born to Holocaust survivors in 1955 in Poland, his wife Joan was born in Suriname.

In 1979 Ben escaped from the Communist Army and emigrated to the United States of America. Before Ben met Joan for more than fifteen years he resided in Jerusalem where he avidly studied the spiritual knowledge of his ancestors. While fasting and praying, often under the open skies of the Judean Desert, he was granted the privilege to fathom truths, which to some are still buried in sands of tradition and ritual religion.

Bible Smuggler

Practically from childhood he was involved in the Bible smuggling operations to Russia and other communist countries, taking active part in the Eastern Block underground evangelism; although being in mortal peril he printed and distributed the so-called 'illegal' Jewish and Christian literature.

Before one of his Bible smuggling trips to Russia he had a dream in which the Lord revealed that his arrest is imminent, but when he asked: 'should he go?' the answer was affirmative. The Lord gave His promise that he would deliver him through an angel.

Against all odds and human reason he followed the Lord's instructions; preached the Gospel and was supernaturally delivered from the looming exile.

Since that awesome day he has dedicated much of his time to Europe and reached almost the entire former Communist Block, the US, Latin and South Americas, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Sent out

The dispatching if Ben Rubin into the evangelistic ministry had begun even before his birth. Ben's mother, inspired by the Holy Spirit, promised God that if He would give her another son she would release him into God's service; she kept her promise and did not interfere with God's dealings with her son. At the age of 10 Ben begun to minister. First he was singing and reciting poetry, then at 12 he started to play piano and guitar.

At age 14 he had a special experience with God, which ushered him into the evangelistic healing ministry and ever since he's been instrumental in founding flourishing Churches and Revival Centers in several nations.

Music Band

Many of Ben's songs were published and are still being sung throughout Poland, not only in Protestant, but also Catholic circles. More than a thousand souls were added to God's glorious Kingdom, amongst whom are many evangelists and pastors and just as Benjamin was obedient to the call of the great commission so are they receiving the seed and planting it in others.

After putting together a music band Ben Rubin's first evangelistic meeting was in Warsaw's 'Mt Calvary' Catholic church; he made an altar call and all present responded with tears of repentance and gave their lives to God the Father through the saving grace of His Son.

Since then hundreds upon hundreds of souls were being added to the Kingdom of God. Wherever Ben went there were healings and instantaneous miracles; the hand of the Almighty was on the young teenager who was just beginning to move also in the prophetic. Benjamin was frequently fasting, praying and avidly studied the Bible. As much as he learned so much he could teach others; he rode his bicycle through towns and villages of Poland where he sang and preached and those that heeded the call he visited teaching them the Bible.

In 1979 Benjamin escaped from the compulsory service in the army and went to America leaving behind great fruit.

Supernatural Escape

Here is what really happened. After his interrogation Benjamin was thrown into jail, but on the next day, at soldier's gunpoint, he was taken back to the airport. While awaiting his deportation an angel of the Lord opened the door urging Ben to follow him. Running together through security checkpoints they had arrived at a gate where a plane for Frankfurt West Germany was ready to taxi away. At the very last moment the promised messenger of deliverance pushed Ben through the door and seated him in the first class, but when Ben turned to thank him the angel was gone. Exhausted by his ordeal he fell into deep sleep just to be awakened by a flight attendant in Frankfurt West Germany.

Israel

Today, Ben and his wife Yona reside in Galilee, a place of refreshment and peace. Just as it was the case with Jesus; from Galilee they set on their evangelistic and Bible-teaching trips to the Americas, Europe and Africa.
